With more than 10 years of comic retail experience, Valiant Entertainment is proud to welcome former Jim Hanley’s Universe and JHU Comic Books manager Kat O’Neill to the team as Live Events & Sales Manager! In her new role at Valiant, Kat will coordinate Valiant’s presence at live events around the globe, as well as work with retailers across the country. And in case you’re wondering, her favorite Valiant character is Punk Mambo! Faith and Armstrong are tied for second place.

“It’s amazing to have Kat join the Valiant family!” exclaimed Matthew Klein, VP of Sales & Marketing. “Her passion and ambition for the industry are insane. Valiant prides itself as being the publisher with the personal touch, and with someone so familiar with the day-to-day workings of what comic shops are going through right now, Kat’s an amazing resource to help us expand our reach.”

Kat’s already having a total blast at Valiant HQ. “I’m thrilled to be joining the team here at Valiant,” said Kat. “As a long-time comic retailer, having the opportunity to work for such a creative and innovative publisher is an absolute dream. I’m excited to join and contribute to a sales team with such stellar retailer outreach as well as organize some exciting live events for Valiant fans.”

Kat already has exciting plans for this year’s edition of New York Comic Con. Stay tuned!
