With more than thirty years of experience in the book and comic retail industry, John Petrie is joining Valiant Entertainment as the Senior Sales Manager!

John has already begun expanding Valiant’s presence in the bookstore, library, and educational markets. In addition to helping Valiant reach new readers, John is also working closely with comic retailers across the country.

“With decades of experience in the book and direct markets, John joining Valiant is a big deal,” said Matthew Klein, VP of Sales & Marketing. “There’s literally no corner of retail he doesn’t bring expertise from and an impeccable reputation. Not only does Valiant have the largest sales team in comics, we just added a lot of fire power. Valiant 2020 is looking even brighter.”

John is thrilled to join Valiant right before the company has one of its most ambitious years yet. “With Valiant 2020, a movie out in a few months, and the opportunity to be a part of community building with Valiant outreach to library and educational venues into 2020 and beyond, this is an amazing time for Valiant and I’m so excited to be a part of it.”
